Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo Takes Home Silver Stevie Award

Proforma, Cleveland, celebrates CEO Vera Muzzillo, who was named the Silver Award winner in the Female Executive of the Year category at the 20th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, an international competition that honors women executives, entrepreneurs, and employees; and for decades has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.

“This organization is full of so many incredible women who serve as trailblazers in their respective industries,” Muzzillo said. “I’m so proud to have found a community of women who share the common goal of inspiring the next generation of female leaders both professionally and personally. I’m filled with gratitude to be honored among them.”

As a family- and woman-owned business, Proforma has continued to empower those within the organization and all who are associated with Proforma, culminating in impressive accolades for the past four decades. In the past year alone, Proforma kicked off 2023 with a milestone achievement, announcing that it reached $620 million in sales. The company ranked No. 5 on Counselor’s 2023 Top Distributor list, as well as No. 5 on PPAI’s inaugural Top 100 Distributors list. Lastly, and most recently, Proforma ranked No. 126 on Franchise Times’ Top 400 list, a significant leap from its 2022 ranking at No. 156.

“I am overjoyed to see Vera recognized for the visionary she is in the print and promotional industry, and for her immense influence,” said Charity Gibson, chief marketing officer for Proforma. “With Vera at the helm, we will continue to see the Proforma network advance, thrive, and set the standard for success for years to come.”

Proforma’s prosperity under Muzzillo’s leadership has not only solidified her success, but has also opened doors for others to succeed in the print and promotional products industry. This journey continues to inspire and set the stage for a future where countless others can join in the legacy of growth and achievement.

“Vera’s leadership serves as an inspiration to us all, motivating our distributor owners, sales professionals, supplier partners, and support center team members to continue in the journey toward a brighter future,” said Doug Kordel, president of Proforma. “We commend her resilience and celebrate her profound impact on the lives around her.”
